MICROWAVE POINT-POINT SITE/PATH SURVEYS
PATH SURVEYS
Global CEL performs path surveys to verify geographical coordinates, ground elevations, antenna structure heights,
obstructions height and other parameters that affect the design of microwave paths. Site data collected to
determine the usability of the site for each microwave path as well as to support further Interference Analysis and
FCC License Application. All field verified and measured data uploaded to a software tool (Pathloss 5.1) for final
analysis and report.
Survey measuring tools:
- Highly accurate geographic measurements using Differential GPS (DGPS)
- Laser distance measurement for object heights
- Drones for obstruction heights measurement where access is limited
Survey reports include:
- Graphical profiles for each link with recommended antenna centerlines
- Written evaluation of suitability for each link indicating any potential issues
- Tower photos/drawings showing existing (if exist) and new antennas
- Path design guarantee for a period of 10 years
